Blogging is a bit more public than I feel inside; like sharing your diary. As I tell friends or family about the North Texas 23 things, many people are commenting that they don't have time for such things, that they don't want to spend anymore time in front of screens than they already have to, that they'd rather be knitting :>) or walking or gardening. Well, me too, normally. But I really want to learn about these things, even if I don't end up using them all. I want to know what my colleagues & patrons are talking about. I want to be able to asess what we could actually use in our library based on some knowledge and experience, not just a gut feeling.
